After loads of actions yesterday, EPL Matchday 26 is set to come to an end.
However, before it does, we still have 2 more games to witness.
Leeds United host a rejuvenated Manchester United side, while in-form Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Leicester City.
If you ask me, I will certainly tell you these games are a must-watch.
But as with our tradition, we can only preview a game.
Don’t you think the game between relegation-threatened Leeds and Top 4 hunters United will be a more preferred choice?
If you think it will let’s head straight to the match preview then as we start with the home team.
EPL (LEEDS UNITED):
Relegation Battle: Certainly a motivating factor for me.
Although the Peacocks are currently placed in 15th position, they are just 6 points clear off 18th placed, Norwich City.
One advantage they’ve got is that they have a game at hand.
However, you don’t want to be careless even with such an advantage, they should have learned from Tottenham Hotspur.
If the above is the case, then United should get ready for a fight.
We all know how impressive Marcelo Bielsa’s men can be on a good day, don’t we?
Home Advantage: Not really a strong fact for Leeds, but it should help in some way.
The last 3 meetings between both sides have seen Manchester United claim the upper hand.
However, the Peacocks were unbeaten in the last contest they had at Elland Road, a game that ended goalless.
This should provide some confidence for them going into this.
Even if they don’t get a win, 1 point will definitely be better than 0 point and an additional -ve goal difference.
Shifting our attention to the away side, let’s look at facts favoring them.
EPL (MANCHESTER UNITED):
Impressive Head To Head: A continuation from the last point given for Leeds.
The Red devils have won 2 and drawn 1 of the last 3 minutes between both sides.
You can tell they will be going into this game with loads of confidence.
Not forgetting how. impressive they played and defeated Brighton, an additional boost you might want to say.
Top 4 Race: A bigger fact that could be a huge motivating factor for Ralf Ragnick’s side.
The Red devils currently occupy 4th position, 1 point clear off Arsenal, and 4 off Tottenham Hotspur.
However, both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have 3 games in hand each which provides them with a greater advantage.
From the above, we can deduce that dropping a single point today will be detrimental to the Red devils’ 4th position hope.
All we can expect is them coming all out to grab all 3 points.
And if there’s 1 team that can do that on a good, it’s definitely Manchester United.
CONCLUSION:
A draw seems most likely in this game, but if we eventually get a winner, you can bet it will be the Red devils.
What do you think about this game, guys?
