Finally, our days of waiting are over as EPL action returns to our screens.
Today, Newcastle United take on Everton, West Ham United host Watford, while Manchester United battle it out with Burnley at the Turf Moor
Very interesting games looking at these various clubs’ activities in the January Transfer window..
Unfortunately, we can only preview a single game which is none other than that between Sean Dyche’s Burnley and Ralf RAgnick’s Manchester United.
Without taking any more time, let’s get right into looking at facts involving each team assessing their strengths and weaknesses in the build-up to this game.
EPL (BURNLEY):
EPL Survival Battle: Currently sitting at the bottom of the log, the Clarets know they are in big trouble.
Fortunately for them, they’ve got 4 outstanding games to play.
However, these games will count for nothing if they don’t win at least two with other factors remaining constant.
This means no game is to be taking lightly, not even today’s game.
Will their quest to escape the relegation zone be enough to see them through today?
Woug Weghorst: It’s the dream of every new signing to hit the ground running from the onset.
You can bet the above will be no different for the Clarets’ newest recruit.
And what better stage does he need to prove his instant worth if not against the Red Devils who are currently in haphazard form
Do you think the towering striker can make an instant impact in helping Sean Dyche defeat Ralf Ragnick’s men?
Next up is the team from the red half of Manchester
EPL (MANCHESTER UNITED):
Top 4 Race: One big fact that can’t be ignored for the Red devils is this.
Currently seated in 4th position, 2 points above Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, and having played more games, you will agree with me that this game is a “win or bust” affair for the Red devils.
A slip today could see them go as low as 7th position if other things remain constant.
You as a United fan do not want to see this happen, do you?
The same answer goes for the team as well, I am certain about this.
Impressive Head To Head: This is another big fact tending towards the favor of the Mancunians
The last 5 meetings between both sides have all gone the way of Ralf Ragnick’s men.
Not just 5 wins, they’ve also scored a whopping 11 goals and conceded just 2 in the process.
That’s a huge motivating factor and a win today shouldn’t prove so difficult, considering their proven track record of always delivering the goods against the Clarets
CONCLUSION:
There’s no stopping the Red devils from bagging a win today based on the facts before us. Especially coming from just being knocked out by Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
However, we should be wary of Burnley who would look to put an end to their poor form against United.
What’s your take on today’s game?
kindly share your thoughts and predictions in the comment section as we would love to hear from you.
