Another exciting fixture for 2 sides who failed to get a win in Matchday 1 with Liverpool’s away draw to newly promoted side, Fulham, being the biggest surprise of all.

Well, each team now has the chance to make amends as they face off at Anfield on Monday in the last fixture for Matchday 1.

Without any further ado, let’s move straight to business.

Home Advantage: Repeats itself yet again. Those who read our previous posts should know better.

The last 5 fixtures here at Anfield have all ended in victories for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

What makes this more interesting is the fact that the Reds have scored a whopping 14 goals and conceded just 3 in these fixtures.

I bet you are already thinking about going with Liverpool, aren’t you?

Head To Head: Well, if I am right about the paragraph above, then this stat should hasten up your decision.

The Reds are currently on a winning run of 10 EPL games against the Eagles, with 30 goals scored and only 6 conceded.

This should provide enough motivation for Jurgen Klopp’s men to get their 1st win this season.

I believe you must be pretty convinced to go with Liverpool now.

Time to shift our attention to the Eagles.

Redemption Time?: in all honesty, there’s no fact favoring Patrick Veira’s men getting a win in this fixture.

However, you don’t want to put aside the fact that they need this game not just to earn their 1st point of the season, but to also put an end to the winless run of games they’ve had against the Reds.

Really, this is enough motivation to see them get at least a draw in this tie if they put the heart to it.

They can also draw more motivation from the fact that their last victory over the Reds was on the same turf.

With the points before us, you don’t want to place your bets against Liverpool, do you?

However, even if you want to, you shouldn’t go below giving them a draw.

I would love to see some surprises though.
